Our Lake Lure, NC Trip

We LOVED Lake Lure, NC and we can't wait to go back! This is a beautiful, quiet little town that has much to boast about!

We stayed in a quaint little place just across the street from the amazing Chimney Rock Park. The boys had so much fun bouncing their behinds down the rocky river which had enormous rocks to relax on. This was our favorite spot...even better than the beach!

It was time to climb the rock!! Did you know this is where they filmed "Last of the Mohicans"!? It was quite a climb...lots of stairs and railings to make sure you get their safely!

We all firmly agree...we must return to this wonderful place!

I thoroughly enjoy taking pictures. I have no idea what I'm doing, really, but sometimes they come out pretty cool. I find that I am extremely patient (when it comes to pics) and I love to watch whatever is I'm trying to shoot. I'll follow that silly lizard around the yard for 30 minutes.
